So, I want to say thank you so much to everyone who has supported me on this amazing journey. I will say upfront that I dislike long blog posts when what you really want is all the way at the end. I don't know how many blogs I have visited for a recipe and have to scroll through all the text about a family vacation to get the ingredient list. Maybe I am just cold hearted, but maybe you all know the feeling. So, I am going to post the links to the files here, and if you want to see work in progress pictures and a little insight into the chosen quotes, please continue to read this article!

Today is a good day for a good day
This quote was suggested by an Instagram follower. I recently reached 500 followers and announced that I would be designing a wallpaper as a thank you. To most business accounts 500 followers wouldn't really mean as much since they have thousands, but to me it means the world. I look back to a year or two ago, when every time I posted something creative on my personal feed I had a mini anxiety attack that either someone would post a negative comment or someone would stop following me because they were tired of my artsy nerdom. And when I started a separate business account, still not knowing exactly what my creative pursuits would become, I was afraid that no one would care, that no one would double tap, and people would leave demeaning comments, pointing out all the flaws that I could see. I am a pretty sensitive, introverted person, a perfectionist with my work, and battle self criticism, so to open myself up to the online community was a big scary step. But it was the positive feedback that I received that helped to encourage me to spend more time pursuing what I loved! So, when I reached 500 followers I asked them for suggestions of quotes, and this was one of them, and I loved the positivity of it. The concepts that we choose to feed our minds have such a huge impact on our lives and actions. I thought, "if I can use a reminder to treat every day like a good day, then maybe other people can too!" So, thank you to all my followers, anyone who read this blog post, anyone who downloaded these wallpapers, and anyone who cheered me on from near or afar.
I Am Enough
Hand Lettering: Rough Concept Sketch of I Am Enough Design.
I think everyone, despite what a tough front we may put on, has their own insecurities and challenges. Sometimes we need a reminder, something that can help us rebalance and readjust our perspectives, especially when we live in such a visual world! It is so easy for us to compare ourselves with pinterest pictures and perfect Instagram feeds that we can loose track of what is really important.
Hand Lettering: Refined Pencil Sketch of Lettering Design.
We live in a society of comparisons. We are constantly bombarded with what's more stylish, or better designed. In order to maintain relevancy, we must be constantly improving. No one can afford to become stagnant. But why? Why is the latest haircut that important? Why is keeping up with current trends and expectations so important? It really isn't. If we are constantly comparing, we are constantly disappointed. I believe in progress, I believe in improvement. But, of myself, improving who I was yesterday. Not of who the media tells me I should become. I am enough.
Hand Lettering: Refined, Inked Sketch, Ready to Enter the Digital Realm.
'You are enough,' is a pretty popular quote, and I love it. I think every person has something worth loving. And sometimes we need someone to bring it to our attention, to help us to see our own beauty. But we can also help ourselves to see our own worth. I love this quote because I don't need someone else to point out that I have value as a person, and you shouldn't either. This wallpaper serves as a visual reminder that you have worth; you are beautiful; you are valued: just as you are.
